As a result of recent residential growth, over 880,000 square feet of new commercial development is in various planning stages and estimated to be completed by 2010. JC Penney, Menards and WalMart all opened in 2007 and outlot space is still available to join Walgreens, Aldi, Firestone, Harris, Jimmy John’s, Fifth Third, Chase and others. Additionally, the downtown riverfront area is being revitalized as a new Village Hall opened its doors in Novemeber of 2008.
