Big Lots, Inc. Holds Grand Opening for New Retail Store in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY-The Montgomery Economic Development Corporation announced today that Big Lots, Inc held a Grand Opening for their new retail store in Montgomery on March 14. The new Big Lots retail store is located at 1840 Douglas Road and will employ approximately 60 employees and occupy approximately 30,000 square feet.
A soft opening was held on March 11, following a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by the Village of Montgomery and The Montgomery Economic Development Corporation.
Regarding the Grand Opening, Store Manager Jim Moreno stated. “We opened at 9:00 AM to a crowd of 180 or more people waiting to get in. We are very, very happy to be here and our first day sales have exceeded our estimates. The customers have said they are very happy to see us in Montgomery.”
