Children's Themed Party Store Comes to Montgomery

The Montgomery Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) announced today that Giselle's Chateau has opened a new facility in Montgomery on 211 Webster Street. Giselle's Chateau is a boutique and party palace offering a variety of children themed parties, gifts and novelties, balloons for all occasions, and rent-a-trunk parties for in-home use.

Owner Gloria Torres said she chose to locate in Montgomery because she felt it was the most centralized area based on the location of similar businesses of this type. Some of Gloria's themed parties include Knight/Princess Dress-Up Parties, Victorian/Southern Belle Tea Parties, Diva/Spa Parties, Karaoke/Disco Parties, and Stuff-A-Bear Parties. When asked why she chose this type of business, Gloria stated, “My sisters and I have always been very creative with throwing parties for our own children. The kids love to dress-up and pretend to be pirates or princesses. My children were my inspiration to open this business, which is named after my daughter, and to offer children themed parties outside of the home. Parties today seem to focus more on hands-on crafts and taking home hand made projects, it's not just about the goody bag anymore.”

Teresa Nortillo , Executive Director of the MEDC stated, “Giselle's Chateau is a wonderful addition to downtown Montgomery. It will definitely draw families with young children to the area. We look forward to its success.”
