Montgomery Economic Development Corporation Hosts First Annual Golf Outing

The Montgomery Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is sponsoring its first annual Golf Outing on September 30, 2004 . The MEDC is a non-profit, public-private economic development organization whose mission is to provide increasing and sustainable economic growth for the Village of Montgomery. All proceeds will go to fund the MEDC, which is in its first year of development. According to the Executive Director, Teresa Nortillo, “We are excited about our first big fundraising event. We are hoping to raise close to $10,000 which is doable for our first time. We are also looking forward to connecting with the Montgomery business community in a fun atmosphere. MEDC Chairman Denny Lee stated that “We are expecting a great turnout for our first golf outing. This will be one of many fundraising activities we will do through out the year in order to support the overall economic development activities of the MEDC.”
The Golf Outing will commence with a shot gun start at 12:00, Dinner and Awards at 5:30. Also during the dinner, The MEDC Executive Director will give a brief presentation as to the on-going and future activities of the MEDC. All proceeds should be sent to the MEDC, 1300 S.
