The Village of Montgomery
Montgomery is a growing community with character and history. The Village currently has approximately 18,436 residents. Nestled along the banks of the Fox River, and in between much larger cities such as Aurora to the South and Naperville to the North. Montgomery is just 40 miles from the City of Chicago and Midway or O’Hare airports.
Montgomery provides you with the best of both worlds, big city advantages nearby and small city values with a superior quality of life. Montgomery is centrally located to a variety of opportunities, culture, events and public transportation. Montgomery has much to offer a growing family with an excellent school system and plenty to choose from. Montgomery is served by two counties, Kane and Kendall, Five School Districts; East Aurora, Kaneland, Oswego, West Aurora and Yorkville. The Village is also served by five fire districts; Aurora Township Fire Protection District, Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District, Montgomery-Countryside Fire protection District; Oswego Fire Protection District, and Sugar Grove Fire Protection District. The community is also served by two award winning park districts, Fox Valley Park District and the Oswegoland Park District. Montgomery continues to have a small town feel where neighbors get together, care about the community and meet at various events throughout the year.
