MEDC’s Business Retention Program

The Montgomery Economic Development office, (MEDC) was created to assist the local business community. We are here to help you succeed in the Village of Montgomery. We would love to make an appointment and meet with you or staff and discuss anything that may be of interest or concern to you. In order to help you, we would need to know as much as possible about your business.  We do this by gathering information from you, visiting your business, phone conversations, or meetings in our office.  The more we know about your business, the more we can help you.  Any information you share will be held in strict confidence and not disclosed to persons outside the MEDC Board of Directors and Executive Board.  Rest assured, all individuals on these Boards have signed Non-Disclosure Agreements that ensure confidentiality on all levels.  We are here to support you in sustaining, expanding and growing your business. Staff is also certified through the National Development Council and IEDC. With over thirty years experience working with communities and all types of businesses, they are sure to help you or find the resources you may need.

We can schedule a visit to your Montgomery business and learn firsthand what your business needs are.  On-site conversations about how your business operates and the product or service you provide are extremely useful for us in understanding your needs.  If you would rather visit the MEDC office, we welcome you to visit our office in historic downtown Montgomery, near  Village Hall (corner of Webster and River Streets). The MEDC has a wealth of information and resources to assist you. Please do not hesitate to give us a call.
